Our program was inspired by the incredible legacy of Rosie L. Townsend-Cook, a loving mother of ten, grandmother to 45+ grandchildren, and great-grandmother to many more. Rosie had a heart that always extended to those in need—she took children under her wing and loved them as her own. We honor her memory by creating a warm, nurturing space where every child is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Our program emphasizes early literacy and STEAM experiences, helping children explore, learn, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

Our Heart & Heritage: More Than Childcare—A Second Home
Founded by a passionate educator and Pennsauken resident, Mom Rosie’s Home Child Care was born out of a simple realization: parents shouldn’t have to choose between the warmth of a “babysitter” and the educational standards of a “private school.”
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children are capable of incredible things when given the right tools. Our space is intentionally designed to be a “micro-school” environment. Here, the kitchen table is a science lab, the backyard is a botanical garden, and the living room is a theater for building confidence.
